About Kalimotxo (kah-lee-moh-choh): Named after the Basque drink of red wine and Coke. Kalimotxo is East Austin's Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar. Pintxos loaded with uni and jamón, tapas rooted in Andalusia, large plates built on Texas ingredients and Spanish technique. The bar runs on sherry, vermouth, and fortified wines. The music is loud. The hospitality is genuine. You'll come for dinner and stay for the second bottle of Rioja.
